A scenic beauty of Shan Plateau!

High up in western Shan State, Kalaw is an old hill station with a laid back atmosphere, refreshing climate and scenic views. The main attractions of Kalaw are the town itself, with its mock-tutor colonial bungalows, its ethnic mix of people, and it's setting within trekking distance of many ethnic minority villages. Situates 4600 feet above sea-level. In the neighborhood lie villages of Danu, Pa-O, Palaung and Taung Yo ethnic groups who come to Kalaw market held every five days in their colorful costumes, adding to the quiet attraction of Kalaw.

Draft itinerary:
Day 01 Arrive in Kalaw, explore market and the old colonial buildings. Afternoon enjoy lodge based activities
Day 02 Easy trek to View point, explore the primary forests and observe the beautiful old dam
Day 03 Lodge based activities include a visit to organic gardens and farm house where we experience working with buffalo, milking cows and feeding animal etc. Enjoy community trail, indulge yourself with the treat of local Danu and Nepalese treat before transfer back to Kalaw
